Jakarta Transportation Dept. assessed, revitalization of Bahtera Jaya Port, Ancol, North Jakarta could be a solution to improve sea transportation services for residents.

People can get the option of using transportation according to their capability

"The most important is factor of service. People can get the option of using transportation according to their capability," expressed Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., at Bahtera Jaya Port, Wednesday (8/2).

He disclosed, the port has great potential to be developed into a tourism port. It will also be a solution for middle-class people to enjoy the tour in Seribu Islands.

According to him, prior to revitalization program, his side needs to conduct in-depth study to measure the feasibility of the Bahtera Jaya Port.

"We will cooperate with Transportation Ministry to ask for input about port design," he closed.
